For some time, I had been feeling that Minimals Vibe was drifting further and further away from the project I truly wanted to build.
The blog began with a strong focus on minimalism, decorating, small spaces, and practical ideas for the home. I still enjoy these subjects, and they are still part of my life. The problem was not the topics themselves, but the way I had been writing about them.
Much of the content had become generic. The articles could have belonged to many other blogs, and they said very little about the life I was actually living.
That is why Minimals Vibe is entering a new chapter—one that is more personal, more grounded, and more consistent with what I hope to build over time.
A real story that may help someone else
More than anything, I want this new chapter to make room for experiences that are part of my own story.
Living with fibromyalgia has taught me that, even though there is no cure, I can still pursue greater balance and a better quality of life. I want to talk honestly about this journey: what I have been learning, the changes I have been making, the importance of professional care, and the choices that are possible within the reality of my body.
I also want to share experiences from my life after becoming a Christian, the way my relationship with God has grown, the changes in my body and menopause, and what I am learning as the mother of a teenager.
I am not sharing these things because I have all the answers. I am sharing them because a real experience can offer comfort, information, and support to someone going through a similar season. I hope this space can also bring people together and contribute to a supportive community built on respect, responsibility, and honesty.
What will remain part of Minimals Vibe
This change does not mean leaving everything from the past behind.
The name Minimals Vibe will remain, as will the domain and the essence that has always been behind my understanding of minimalism. What is changing is the way I understand that essence today.
In the past, minimalism appeared mainly through aesthetics, organization, decorating, and small spaces. Now, it is also connected to reducing excess and noise, consuming more thoughtfully, protecting my attention, reconsidering priorities, and making room for what truly matters.
Home, apartment living, organization, plants, technology, furniture, conscious consumption, and small spaces will continue to be part of the blog. The difference is that these subjects will begin with what we have actually experienced.
For example, I can write about the Zigbee automation system we planned for our apartment before the drywall ceiling was installed, the custom furniture we decided to build ourselves, the renovation, the choices that worked, and the ones we would make differently today.
Instead of writing about an ideal home, I want to write about the real home we are still creating, one step at a time.
Life changed—and the project needed to change with it
My own life has changed a great deal since Minimals Vibe began.
I am now 46, I live with fibromyalgia, and I am going through menopause. I have been trying to understand my body more fully and find realistic ways to care for my quality of life through reliable information, professional support, food, daily habits, rest, and lifestyle changes.
I am also the mother of a teenager. My family is in a new season as we gradually make a home after moving into a new apartment. At the same time, I am reconsidering my relationship with consumption, social media, attention, and the way I choose to use my time.
I do not want Minimals Vibe to become a blog only about fibromyalgia or menopause. Nor do I want it to be only a Christian blog or only a home blog.
I want these subjects to exist together because they already exist together in my life.
What a lighter life means to me today
A lighter life is not a perfect life.
It is not about having a flawless home, a completely organized routine, a body that always responds the way I wish it would, or the ability to handle everything.
For me, living more lightly means making intentional choices within the life I actually have. It means learning that respecting my body’s limits does not mean giving up on a better life. It means caring for myself without believing that I can control everything.
It means reducing excess, noise, comparison, and distraction. Consuming with greater care. Accepting that the apartment does not always have to be finished and that some projects can wait. Spending less time on social media and protecting my attention more intentionally.
It also means making room for my family, for God, for books, for coffee, for board games, for plants, for hobbies, and for rest.
Today, a lighter life involves my body, home, family, time, consumption, attention, faith, and priorities.
Why faith will be part of this space
My faith in Jesus is not an editorial strategy I decided to add to Minimals Vibe. It is part of my life, and it has a central place in the way I understand my choices.
As the project becomes more personal, it would not be honest to keep leaving this part of my life outside it.
That does not mean every article will be a devotional or that I will add a Bible verse to every topic. I also do not want to write as though I have all the answers.
I want to share what I am learning about a relationship with God, trust, contentment, waiting, simplicity, limits, and spiritual growth.
My faith does not remove fibromyalgia, menopause, or life’s difficulties. I also do not believe that a person’s suffering is the result of insufficient faith. For me, faith has much more to do with how we learn to walk through what we cannot control.
I want to continue caring for my health, seeking reliable information, professional support, and better choices, while also recognizing that God remains at the center of my life.
What you will find here from now on
New content will be organized into five main paths:
- Faith in Real Life, for reflections on following Jesus in everyday life;
- Living Better, for personal experiences and responsible information about fibromyalgia, menopause, daily habits, rest, and quality of life;
- Real Home, for apartment living, renovation, furniture we build ourselves, home automation, organization, and plants;
- Lighter Living, for digital minimalism, conscious consumption, realistic routines, and choices with less noise;
- Family and Connection, for family life, raising a teenager, board games, Scouting, and being present with one another, always with respect for privacy.
There will also be room for books, coffee, plants, projects, curiosities, and small pleasures. I do not want everything to revolve around life’s difficulties. Real life is also made of learning, interests, and simple moments that do us good.
I do not intend to teach anyone to live exactly as I do. I want to share experiences, research, criteria, mistakes, and lessons that may help each reader make their own choices.
A new chapter, not an erased story
I do not believe that everything I did before was wrong, and I do not want to pretend the previous chapter never existed. Minimals Vibe is maturing so it can reflect the life I am living today.
Some subjects will remain. Others will gain more depth. And what no longer makes sense may be left behind.
I want to publish after I have lived and reflected, rather than turning everything that is happening in the moment into content. This project can be personal without turning my life and my family into a constant broadcast.
This is the principle I want to preserve from now on:
Share what I learn without sharing my entire life.
This is how I want to build the new Minimals Vibe: with faith, real life, and possible choices for a lighter way of living—with God at the center.
